The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a Mississippi case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, that will delve into the question of whether pre-viability limits on abortion – the dismembering or poisoning of a tiny human being – beginning at 15 weeks’ gestation are constitutional.

Dobbs is a late-term abortion case. Currently, our wide-open abortion laws, including for late-term abortion, align with only seven other countries, including China and North Korea.  Prior to the Texas Heartbeat Law going into effect September 1st 2021, the three Austin abortion facilities aborted up to 16 weeks (4 months), 18 weeks and 20 weeks (5 months).  Read more about the Dobbs case here.
